In the framework of the further promotion of the culture of competition with the academic world, on 15 May 2024, in the premises of “Epoka” University, with the cooperation of the Competition Authority and the Department of Law of “Epoka” University, was held the first student conference with the theme “Competition, market and technology”.

This conference was attended by the Chairman of the Competition Authority, Mr. Denar Biba, representative of the Competition Authority, Dean of “Epoka” University, Mr. Lisen Bashkurti, Rector, Mr. Ahmet Oztas and professors and students of the law department of this university.

Mr. Biba, in his welcoming speech, thanked the leaders of the university, professors, and students for their positive initiative in developing this conference. During his speech, he explained to the guests the increasing role and importance of the Competition Authority in its daily activities, facing current and new challenges with the ultimate goal of achieving and maintaining free competition.

The Competition Authority encourages the organization and revival of such conferences as one of the best ways to further promote the culture of competition through the intensification of relations with the academic world.
