The Competition Commission, in its meeting on 5 December 2023, considered 2 concentration notifications.
- Concentration obtained through Authorizing the acquisition of sole control by CSIC Longjiang GH Gas Turbine Co., Ltd over the assets of the gas turbine Business of MAN Energy Solutions SE.
- Concentration obtained through the acquisition of control over Parque Eólico Litueche SpA from the undertaking Empresa Eléctrica Pilmaiquén S.A.
The concentrations will not create overlaps or upstream or downstream relationships between the activities of the parties at the national level and for these reasons, the intended transaction will not bring change and will not have an impact on the Albanian market.
For these reasons, the Competition Commission by Decision no. 1034, dated 05.12.2023, decided to authorize the concentration obtained through the acquisition of sole control by the company CSIC Longjiang GH Gas Turbine Co., Ltd over the assets of the gas turbine Business of MAN Energy Solutions SE and by Decision no. 1035, dated 05.12.2023, decided to authorize the concentration obtained through the creation of a joint enterprise with full functions, by the companies Volvo Business Services International AB and Renault s.a.s.
