Cable broadcasters are placed under monitoring for the broadcasting rights of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. As a result of several complaints from various citizens as well as concerns raised by some deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, the Competition Authority decided to open a monitoring procedure regarding the broadcasting rights of cable television stations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
