The integration process is one of the priorities and challenges of the Competition Authority's activity. As a leader and coordinator institution for chapter 8: "Competition Policy", which consists of three components: Competition, State Aid and Liberalization, ACA provides its contribution under the National Plan for European Integration, reports periodically to the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, reports to the Stabilization and Association Committee and the Subcommittee on "Internal Market and Competition, including Consumer and Health Protection".

AK, as a leader of the Interinstitutional Working Group on European Integration, holds inter-institutional meetings each month on issues regarding market liberalization.

Following the continous reporting to the European Commission, ACA provides its contribution for the Progress Report, since 2005.
