“Competition and Entrepreneurship” Conference
On Thursday, 14 November 2019, for the celebration of the ACA 15th anniversary and of the World Competition Day, the Albanian Competition Authority in cooperation with the Spanish National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC), organized the Conference on “Competition and Entrepreneurship”.
In this activity had their speeches important names in politics such as the Vice President of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, Ms. Vasilika Hysi, the Minister of State for the Protection of Entrepreneurship, Mr. Eduard Shalsi, and the First Secretary of the Section for Economic and Social Development of the European Union Delegation in Albania, Mr. Andrea Vera.
In the Conference also participated representatives from regulatory bodies and other organizations, both domestic and foreign, such as the Water Regulatory Authority, the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Ibero-American International Foundation for Administration and Public Policies.
Furthermore, this activity was considered as the launching of the IPA Twinning project in collaboration with CNMC, on “Further Strengthening the Competition Authority’s Capacities to Protect the Free and Effective Competition in the Market”.
