Ms. Dhurata Skënderi completed her higher studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana in 1994, in the Finance branch, and completed her postgraduate studies in the Master’s program in “Public Administration” and “Legislation and European Institutions”, at the University of Tirana.
Ms. Skenderi has a long professional experience in the health sector, working as the head of the Finance Sector at the Public Health Institute for about 2 years and then, for 7 years, at the Health Care Insurance Institute, (today the Insurance Fund of Health Care) as responsible in the budget, finance and statistics sector. Since 2007, she has been part of the staff of the Competition Authority, first as a specialist in the Cartel Sector and then as the head of the Analysis and Studies Sector. Since 2017, Mrs. Skenderi leads the Directorate of Market Analysis and Methodology.
In terms of professional development, Mrs. Skenderi has completed continuous qualifications in the field of competition both inside and outside the country, as well as completed qualifications in the field of finance and financial audit.
