The Competition Commission, in its meeting on 02.02.2024, considered 4 concentration notifications.
- The concentration obtained through the creation of a joint undertaking with full functions from the undertakings AGNA SHA, LARTI – SHP and FIX PRO SHP.
- The concentration obtained through the purchase of the shares of the undetaking Eagle Investment SHA by the undertaking Infinity Investment SHA.
- The proposed concentration obtained through the acquisition of control of the undertaking Enerfin Sociedad de Energia SL by the undertaking Statkraft European Wind and Solar Holding AS.
- The concentration obtained through the acquisition of control of the undertaking First Bank S.A. from the undertaking Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A.
These concentrations will not create overlaps or upstream or downstream relationships between the activities of the parties at the national level and for these reasons, the intended transactions will not bring change and will not have an impact on the Albanian market.
For these reasons, the Competition Commission decided:
- By Decision no. 1053, dated 02.02.2024, to authorize the concentration obtained through the creation of a joint undertaking with full functions from the undertakings AGNA SHA, LARTI – SHPK and FIX PRO SHPK.
- By Decision no. 1054, dated 02.02.2024, to authorize the concentration obtained through the purchase of the shares of the undertaking Eagle Investment SHA from the undertaking Infinity Investment SHA.
- By Decision no. 1055, dated 02.02.2024, to authorize the proposed concentration obtained through the acquisition of control of the undertaking Enerfin Sociedad de Energia SL from the undertaking Statkraft European Wind and Solar Holding AS.
- By Decision no. 1056, dated 02.02.2024, to authorize the concentration obtained through the acquisition of control of the undertaking First Bank S.A. from the undertaking Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A.
