Closure of the Preliminary Investigation Procedure in the market of trading of the raw products for making bread and its sub-products, namely to the “Nelly” SHPK undertaking.

The Competition Authority after opening the preliminary investigation procedure in the market of trading raw products for making bread doughs and its sub-products, namely to “Nelly” LLC, collected the necessary information and did its own investigations. After evaluating all the documentation administered during the investigation procedure such as: the documentation administered during down raids, the documentation submitted by the undertaking under investigation, the documentation provided by the General Directorate of Customs and the National Food Authority, the Competition Authority did not identify elements of abuse of dominant position in the relevant market. The Competition Commission with Decision no. 472 date 14.09.2017 decided to close the preliminary investigation procedure in this market as it did not find an infrigement of competition law, based on Article 9 of Law no. 9121/2003.
