During 13–15 November 2025, the Albanian Competition Authority participated in the “IV International Conference on Competition and Consumer Protection”, held in Tbilisi, Georgia. At this event, the Competition Authority was represented by Mr. Durim Kraja, Member of the Competition Commission, who was invited as a speaker on the panel “The Future of Mergers: Navigating New Global Realities”.
During the discussion, he shared the experience and approach of the Albanian Competition Authority in merger control, the challenges of developing markets, and the importance of alignment with international best practices.
Participation in this event promotes the exchange of experiences and strengthens cooperation among competition authorities in the region and beyond.
