The Competition Commission extends the deadline for the preliminary investigation against the companies Vodafone Albania SHA and One Albania SHA in the retail mobile services market.
The Competition Commission, at its meeting on July 25, 2025, decided to amend Decision No. 1156, dated 29.01.2025, relating to the opening of a preliminary investigation against the companies Vodafone Albania SHA and One Albania SHA in the retail mobile services market.
This decision comes as a result of the need for a more complete analysis of the behaviorthe undertakings operating in the retail market for mobile services, as well as to ensure objective decision-making by the Competition Commission.
For this reason, with Decision No. 1201, dated 25.07.2025, the Commission decided to amend points II and III, in VKK No. 1156, dated 29.01.2025 “On the opening of preliminary investigation procedures against the enterprises of Vodafone Albania SHA and One Albania SHA in the retail mobile phone market”, as follows:
- “The preliminary investigation shall cover the period from 01.01.2022 to 25.07.2025”.
- “The preliminary investigation report shall be submitted to the Competition Commission no later than 29 October 2025”.
