The Competition Commission, in its meeting of October 5th, 2017, with Decision no. 476, dated 05.10.2017 decided to close the in-depth investigation in all segments of loading, unloading, import, storage and wholesale market of liquid gas for household and business consumption, and to issue the following recommendations:
1. To the Authorized State Operator, Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and Ministry of Finance to develop and adopt a market regulation methodology that clearly defines the role, functions and mode of operation of every operator in this market.
2. To recall into attention the implementation of the Competition Commission Decision no. 390, dated 22.12.2015.
3. The above entities must notify the Competition Authority on the implementation of the recommendations within 90 days of the entry into force of this decision.
The Competition Authority has decided to monitor all segments of loading, unloading, import, storage and wholesale market of liquid gas for household and business consumption for a period of 1 (one) year, starting on16 October 2017.
