Tirana, 17 November 2025- The Competition Authority (CAA) and the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana (FDUT), have formalized their cooperation through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement, with the aim of strengthening the culture of competition and promoting competition advocacy for students and academic staff.
The official visit took place at the premises of the Competition Authority, attended by Prof. Dr. Dorina Hoxha, Dean of FDUT, and Ms. Fjoralba Caka, lecturer of European Union and Internal Market Law, while the CA was hosted by the Chairman Mr. Denar Biba, Commission Member Ms. Rezana Konomi, and Mimoza Kodhelaj, Director.
The Cooperation Agreement aims to create a sustainable platform for cooperation between the two institutions in the field of training, scientific research in the field of competition, and awareness-raising on the importance of effective competition in the economy, as well as to create the opportunity for the development of internships by students and the organization of joint activities between the two institutions, including open lectures, seminars and various trainings for students and academic staff.
The Faculty of Law, University of Tirana (FDUT) expressed its gratitude for the close cooperation with the Competition Authority and reiterated its commitment to contribute to the education of the new generation of professionals in accordance with the best European standards in the field of competition.
The Competition Authority appreciates the cooperation with academic institutions to educate tomorrow’s professionals on the principles of competition protection.
