Mr. Thomas Koleka completed his higher studies at New York University in Tirana and Empire State College US, in the Finance branch, in 2015. Mr. Koleka has a working experience in the public and private sectors, initially working as Finance Specialist at an insurance company, and then as a Specialist in the Directorate of Supervision of Insurance Companies at the Financial Supervision Authority during the years 2016 – 2017.
Since 2018, he has been part of the staff of the Competition Authority, initially as an Advisor at Cabinet of the Chairman of the Competition Authority and since 2021 as Director of the Directorate of Human Resources, Budget and Communication. As a function of professional development, Mr. Koleka has completed continuous qualifications in the field of Competition, Internal Control and European Integration, both domestic and abroad.
