Mimoza Kodhelaj
Ms. Mimoza Kodhelaj graduated in the field of Economic Informatics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, in 2007. She completed postgraduate studies in Managerial Control and Information Systems Management at Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands, in 2009, and holds a Master of Science degree in European Economic Studies from the University of Tirana and the University of Bamberg in 2011. Over the past 15 years, she has worked in various functions at the Competition Authority (CA), and since 2019, she has been the Director of the Directorate of Supervision of Product Markets.
Her professional experience at the CA includes the enforcement of competition law, market studies, investigations against prohibited agreements and abuse of dominant position, promotion of competition advocacy, evaluation of economic policies in regulated markets, and preparation of reports on competition in line with the EU acquis and the TFEU. Among other things, Mimoza has received international training, as she gained practical experience at the European Commission, Directorate-General for Competition, in Brussels, Belgium, in 2010. She has been involved in numerous international events as a moderator, role model, presenter, and organizer with international organizations such as OECD, ICN, TAIEX, IPA Twinning, UNCTAD, etc. Additionally, she has been engaged in teaching at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, where she has conducted seminars as an external assistant in the subjects of Information Systems Management and General Informatics.
