The Cooperation Agreement between the Albanian Competition Authority and the Competition Authority of the Republic of Montenegro is signed.
Today, date 07.10.2024, the Chairman of the Competition Authority Mr. Denar Biba hosted the Chairman of the Competition Authority of Montenegro, Mr. Dragan Damjanovic.
The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions, within the framework of increased competition in the market and economic integration through an open market economy and an economy as competitive as possible!
In this context, the Agreement of Understanding in the Field of Implementation and Competition Policy was signed.
This agreement aims to further increase the exchange of information and policies in the field of competition law enforcement, the sharing of expertise in the field of investigations related to the violation of competition rules, the exchange of experiences in the field of competition promotion as well as the organization of study visits and expert training sessions.
The Competition Authority continues to have as one of its primary goals, the expansion of cooperation with the Competition Authorities of the countries of the region and beyond, in order to promote and increase the culture of competition.
